    Really unassuming place with wonderful service and awesome food. Had the lemon-pepper Buffalo tenders with an order of fries and a waffle. Chicken very tender, bursting with flavor - spicy, zesty, salty... Nice and crunchy fries, well seasoned. The waffle was as soft as a cloud! Wonderful!

    I genuinely wanted to give them five stars. The food is that delicious. I tried the lemon pepper buffalo wings, the tenders with Sriracha sauce and the cornbread. Everything was just top tier amazing.

    So why the 2 stars?

    Because the night we were there, we placed our order at 6:10 (per the receipt). We didnt get our food until 7:04. Strangely the people immediately after us got their food first (it still took a half hour for theirs), and the room was packed with people waiting the whole time. A group of three that had been there when we arrived left mad and I think they left after paying and receiving no food!

    I dont know if they were short staffed or what was going on, but there was no apology or explanation and that was a shame. Was SO looking forward to going back and trying other flavors. Shame

    The wings where good not the best but good. Owner is very friendly and kind.  They charge xtra if you wont all flats or drums which is all kinds of wrong. The cornbread is very good. If i go back it will be for the cornbread

    Love their strips and cornbread. Best to call in your order though because you'll wait a while if not. The associates  are very welcoming and efficient. The prices are a little steep for what they are offering however the chicken is really good so I'll be back for sure.

    I decided to try this place my oldest child had been raving about for months since I was craving wings. I placed a cl in order for 8 wings,all flats fried hard with my sauce on the side. I got Lemon Pepper Buffalo and Honey BBQ. They also serve Belgian waffles with powdered sugar! My order was perfect and exactly the way I ordered it. Yall got to try this small black owned establishment that's located on the corner of 7th& Oak.
